...were my bliss tonight at our town Christmas Gala....

We have a large market square where the gala takes place....it was happy and fun.....
The pipe band was terrific......lovely playing and nice knees...

I'm not a dog lover but the two dogs at the GSDR stand won me over..... one was rescued from Spain and the other....a gorgeous dog....had belonged to an elderly man who'd been taken ill........The story of how they re-homed the dog but kept in touch with the old man until he died was really heart-warming.....

And now I'm home and warming by the fire with a toddy......x

Lovely, Wolf....they are nice dogs.....and so calm despite being next to all the bagpipes!

Bull-Mastiff. I should have mentioned that he was 6/7 months old at the time.

He has been dead for many years and I still smile when I think of him.
