Outlook Emails. Extra Window?

When opening my emails in outlook.com there is now an annoying extra window opening displaying the email contents as well as it being in the background. Tried display settings and hiding reading pane but still keeps popping up. Annoying ! HELP ?!

Hi Dee saw your post this morning and do confess that I waited for someone else to reply because I didn't really know what it was that you describe. I use outlook.live.co and have no such display. When you say it opens up an extra window is this full screen (like a shadow) or a small pane somewhere on the page. My response to your question will bump your post and maybe someone else will pick up the baton.

Another point Dee. This question would have been better posted in Technology as a lot of our techie friends do tend to have a look in there for just such questions as yours.
