I have a '2' on the top left of my nokia display screen.. I've never seen this before. What does it mean???

Some phones have 2 lines. You can set it up to use one line for buinsess and another for personal and then get the bill split into 2 parts detailing calls to each line. My guess would be its that.

Bad bob is right, it happened on my old Nokia 6310 if the SIM card was taken out. apparently you can update the software to fix it
