My daughter-in-law has had a terrible skin reaction to face make-up. Her doctor has made an appointment with a dermatologist for her, but it`s a long waiting list. Any suggestions of any cream/lotion/products that she could use to help rid her of the "rash" on her face. Thanks.

T-Tree is probably best for any skin rash. But then it all depends what she is allergic to in the first place. As it could make it worse. I really would wait to see the dermotologist as she could make it worse. If it is an allergic reaction it should go.

dream cream by lush, its really great and has lots of soothing stuff in it, you can buy online too

Good luck

Hydrocortisone is very good, you can get this without prescription now, or failing that go to the doctors to get something stronger. I suffer from ezcema on my face and body and there are creams out there that will help.

Also a antihistamine will help if it is an allergic reaction - you can buy these in supermarkets these days very cheaply.

Thanks on behalf of my daughter in law. I`ve given her all your suggestions
Try Liz Earle skincare. It's completely natural. Look on the website liz earle.com.

As her face is at the moment, she`s worried of trying any skincare range until the "rash"/ redness clears up. She`s has been too embarassed to go out as she got fed up of people asking what was wrong with her face. As a young mum of 3, this was difficult for her & living in a small community does n`t help either.
Opalchick is right try Liz Earle. She designed the range as she suffered from very sensitive skin and exczema(spelling!) and couldn't find anything gentle enough. Go to web site and ring them they will advise you. She's a great advert she has the most fab skin and believe she is in her 40's
