We need action, not this continual faffing about. All that is happening now is that the £ is suffering, due to the uncertainty that has arisen since June.
I have no idea but at a guess I would say, with some, hopefully in the minority, the need not to be proved wrong or the need to prove others wrong, overrides all else. I can't think of any other reason. In voting for Brexit I knew there would be some things that would not suit me and could bring hardship for me, but overall I think it will be a good thing for this country in the end. Personally I'm OK so far as I gag at even the smell of Marmite.
The main reason that prices are going is because the Pound is falling against other currencies, especially the US Dollar. Anything that is sold in Dollars will rise.
