Petrol Stains

I've got a small petrol stain on my rear seat, whats the best method of removing it?

white sprit, its a higher grade than petrol, also a verry good de-greaser, whic it the part of petrol that stains- the residue. pour it on and scrub like mad, as it does evaporade fast, watch out for the fumes tho, they are nausiating. then leave the windows open to vent it
