I had a leak on the meter in August, which was fixed promptly.
I received a letter this morning saying Yorkshire water have reviewed the charges on my account and reduced it from £6,725-00 to £48-00!!!
Its a good job I don't pay this bill by direct debit:-)

Melv better than the message from my utility company to whom I pay £34 monthly and am in fact about £100 in credit saying the current £125.10 I pay a month will increase to £135.01. WHAT?
maybe you've accidentally applied for holy water, ladybirder... they have to pay the archbishop quite a lot to bless it, you know.
Relax, Melv. It's all sorted now. Why don't you go abroad to get over the shock? Take your mobile phone with you, of course ;-)
