Has anyone read all 3 books in the Simon Serrailler series? If yes, can anyone help me with 2 questions please?

What is the name of Serrailler's Chief Constable?

What are both Christian names of Serrailler's second nephew [sister Cat's 2nd child]? I think this could be Felix something.

Have managed to find answers to the other questions with a great deal of looking up but just cannot find these. Many thanks in advance for your help.

I think the CC's name is Paula Boardman (definitely Paula B******). Cat's new baby is indeed called Felix.

I'm currently reading the second book so I can give you the definite answer tomorrow.

That's great! I need TWO Christian names though for Felix. Could it be Paula Devenish? I've quickly glanced through The Risk of Darkness in the bookshop and saw that name. Will wait to hear if you learn anything further to assist me. Are they a good read?

I read the first, The Various Haunts Of Men, and found it quite moving at the end (won't spoil it for you) - then realised that it was the first of a trilogy. So I popped into the library and found The Pure In Heart which I'm nearly through reading.

Incidentally, have a look at the author's website:

Apparently she's writing a fourth Serrailler book and the TV rights have been bought.

Hi mjulian

Sorry, you're right - it is Paula Devenish. And the baby's full name is Felix Daniel Deerbon.

I am enjoying these books which is a rarity for me, as I don't often read fiction. I think you'll enjoy them, too.

Thank you so much for your help, delboy3. I had already looked up the website but obviously all the answers weren't there. The competition got me going so I'm now halfway through the various haunts of men and have found it definitely readable!!! Thanks again for your help - much appreciated.
