I have had it twice in my life when I was much younger. Never again if I can avoid it!

Had it once, don't want it again. 20 years or so back. had an en-suite bathroom at the time, had to roll out of bed and crawl to the Loo. Seriously not nice.
I was however very popular with the cats we had at the time, they thought my high temperature was a wonderful heat source.

Balders that’s what i remember too.....I was tucked up on the sofa downstairs. managed to walk to the loo but had to crawl back assisted by a dog! Years earlier, when I had it in my teens I had days and nights of the most terrible dreams and was ill with it for a month in total.
