estranged son
My boyfriend has just been told by his ex that his 10 year old son does not want to know him after only getting to know him for about a year. His son never gave any signs of such and i wondered if any one knew of any way to find out with out involving a lawyer??

Did your boyfriends ex give a reason and is it possible that she's making it up? If his name is on the birth certificate then surely he has rights as the boys father. It's difficult not knowing why he wasn't around for the first 9 yrs but I think he needs to talk to his ex when his son isn't around to sort this out.
