can anyone tell me how to save videos shown with flashplayer, quicktime etc to my hardrive? I have a programme called SDP which is supposed to record videostreams but doesn't seem to work with quicktime.

depends on how it's streamed and the format of the file.

Sorry! I thought you were having problems with Quicktime (which is usually quite easy to rummage for the link for). That link is for a Flash file - and while there are numerous programs that claim to d/l them, I've yet to find one that actually works on any of the sites that I have tried to save files from :-(.
