In case you've not noticed it, Morrison's currently have a 'Beer Festival' promotion on, with loads of guest bottled ales. (4 for £6).

Some are old favourites (such as Young's Double Chocolate Stout) but there are quite a few which are new to me.

I'm currently enjoying a few bottles of this:

Whatever happened to the Black & Tan? Half of bitter and a bottle of stout.

^^^ Possibly politically incorrect after the Good Friday Agreement, JD33? ;-)

^^ I know Chris. Mr Abbott didn't like people drinking too much of his beer!
One week end I remember drinking a fair few Abbotts in Baldock. The next thing I remember I woke up in Gt Yarmouth. I though Mr Abbott had knocked me out for drinking too much of his beer. But apparently we had decided it was a good idea to go for a weekend at the seaside, not that I can remember much about it!

Aha!

South (rather than North) Yorkshire, Zac!

I don't think I ever got there but my memory of living in Yorkshire is getting rather hazy (and my memory after visiting any pub is often hazy anyway!)

I tended to stick to places which were within a couple of bus rides from my home in Ecclesfield.

^^^ Hmmm.

Baldock to Great Yarmouth. That's just over 100 miles. Not bad at all!

Yes, I know that some people have over-imbibed and woken up on a different continent but I still reckon that travelling 100 miles, while 'completely out of it', counts as some some sort of achievement! ;-)
