Tanning moisturiser

I bought one of these new tanning moisturisers yesterday and used it last night and this morning.

However, I have now noticed some streaks around my ankles and on the underside of my arms. I've got very pale skin so it will notice if I wear short-sleeves.

Is there a way of getting rid of the streaks, or do I wait for it to naturally come off? Also, any tips on being "streak free" in future? I thought I was pretty safe using a tanning moisturiser, rather than actual fake-tan, but obviously not!

If you use it everyday, the streaks will disappear.x
if this is the johnsons one do not use it under a factor rated sunscreen it will cancel our the UPv thing and u will burn

Thanks for that Dot! I use the Johnson's one. However, I never sunbathe so it won't matter. Have just bought the Nivea one 'cos it's on offer and smells nicer. Haven't tried it yet though.

Katie is right Karen. Once the tan begins to build up you won't notice the streakiness

I am using the darker one at the moment as I bought it by mistake. Quite impressive though!

Wow, thanks for your quick replies guys. I was a bit scared of applying more, but logic does suggest that the more I use, the less the streakiness will notice.

I'm so pale, I bought the lighter one. Good job I did really!

Thanks Dot for the tip re: cancelling out sunscreen. It is the Johnsons one, so I'll make sure I'm careful (not that I spend much time outdoors in the sun).

I use the Dove one and have not had any streaking problems - seems quite good.

A hot bath and rubbing with a towel afterwards will rub the tan off quicker

I'm using the garnier summer body one at the moment, it smells really nice, which makes a change for fake tan! I would agree using more will fade the streaks, just make sure you apply it evenly, all over this time.

Dot - how does the cancelling out thing work?

You can get wipes which remove fake tan - I got some in a white packet in sainsburys
