'Eucerin' is a special kind of shower gel, body lotion and facial moisturizer sold in boots and is usually next to the E45 etc. It is fantastic for really really dry skin, but you should probably visit a doctor or dermatologist as it could be Eczema and you may need a mild steriod cream
Someone recommended Diprobase to me on answerbank and it's great stuff. I don't even need to use it everyday now.

Yes, I recall gessoo recommending Diprobase some time ago.

Although I don't suffer with dry skin, well maybe sore hands after lots of gardening, it's always best to be prepared!

Johnsons Moisturising Cream is really good - it will be kinder to the delicate skin on your face.
Oops - meant to add that it's the Johnsons Baby Moisturising Cream that comes in a white tube with blue writing.
I suffer from Eczema alot as well which is why I hate the summer as it's usually alot worse!! I swear by Vaseline's Dermacare lotion which is completely hypo-allergenic. It's the one that comes in the white bottle.
I get very bad dry skin when the weather is changing (winter to summer) and I've found that Plamers Cocoa Butter Formula is brilliant. The cream is great for everyday, but they also do a butter in a jar which is good for those really bad dry patches. You litterally have to warm it up in your hands so that you can rub it in properly. The texture's not for everyone, my sister hates it, but I don't mind it, and the relief from itching is amazing. I've also bought pure cocoa butter from ebay which is good too, and a lot cheaper than say the Body Shop. Worth a try, and you'll smell amazing!
