My son was recently involved in a hit and run accident where the occupants abandoned the car and ran off. My son has admitted to having to edge out of a junction to be able to see if the road was clear due to parked cars. His insurance company have said he was to blame due to this. Is there an appeal body he can contact to help him as he was hit by untraced drivers?

Click on accidents.

In legal terms, your son is at fault, and his insurance may well want to up his premiums if they repair under his policy - which seems likely, given that the other vehicle was more than likely stolen.
