I have had an electric one for a cuppla years now. Philips Sonicare.

Recently it is charging ok but when I put a spare brush on - brush sorta "collapses" when I start to clean my teeth.

I tried another brush and same thing so I don't know if there is a problem with the brushes or is the electric toothbrush finished.

Thanks for any comments.

If the toothbrush itself is still vibrating as it always did then that bit's fine. I'd suggest you've either bought 'soft' brushes or inferior fake brushes. I'm always horrified at the cost of replacement brushes, really expensive for Oral B anyway.
Prudie I got some oral b brushes for about half price from Groupon .com.It might be worth your while to check it out.
Thanks for the tip Danny, would never have thought of that.
Sounds like wrong toothbrushes conne.
Sorry that should be .co.uk

No the toothbrush is finished. Sista gave me a new one OralB Braun - I went Happy Days - omg - no way could I use it - too powerful and sensation not good. I will order another Philips.
