Smurfs, what were the names of the bad guys, one was something like gargamon (maybe) he also had a cat ... but have no idea what he was called. Any Thoughts

the evil bloke was called gargamel and his cat was called azreal.

Azrael was named after the Angel of Death, denoting of course an evil cat.
