I was diagnosed with this months ago and it's not only getting worse but it's taking over my life. Apart from the sneezing and runny nose which I can cope with, it's the unbearable incessant itching of my nose. It is literally like I've got hundreds on tiny spiders on my skin. No matter how hard I try not to I'm rubbing and scratching my nose until it's bleeding and the skin is coming off. It's so red and sore I look like I've got a drink problem ! The doctor has put me on antihistamines but they aren't really making much of a difference. Sleeping is becoming almost impossible so I'm shattered too. Anybody have any help or advice at all please??

That's what I take MM. Ummmm I've not tried any creams yet - doctor didn't suggest any and wasn't sure what to try but I'm going demented! (Sorry about your eyes X)
perhaps you need to see a consultant dermatologist ? ask GP
savlon on the raw nose..ouch
Is Beconase not recommended anymore it used to dry me out pretty much straight away - been fortunate with no reoccurrences for a while.

Savlon is on the list for today then. No they haven't suggested a spray but tbh think I'm going to have to go back to the doctor as its 24-7 now
yes, deffo back to doc as soon as you can. Rather than Savlon, you could try an antihistamine cream on your nose. I did have it as badly as you when I was younger and we were surrounded by hayfields where we lived and I used to do a three pronged attack, antihistamine (and some work better than others it really depends on you) a steroid nasal spray like beconase and also lifestyle stuff.keep doors and windows shut in bedroom and change clothes before going in there. shower and wash or damp brush hair on arriving home. It doesn’t need to be a long or soapy shower, just to rinse the pollen away and keep indoor clothes to wear after shower. If its really bad you can get referred to an allergy clinic bit you may need to really push your GP.

Have just been to local pharmacy and he's told me to also go back to the doctor but suggested I buy E45 itch relief cream, which may help just a tad. Am just so sore : (
