I think I read somewhere that linseed oil gives dogs a shiny coat. While I'm not worried about the state of what hair I have left I'd be glad to get rid of my all over dandruff.

If your dandruff is not due to oily skin...there are various causes...you could try coconut oil.

"head and shoulders" sandy twice a w eek or wilko's equivalent
Bio Oil, Sandy....it makes great claims but has mixed reviews. However, it's the best thing I have tried for very dry skin......and it does improve the appearance of blotchy skin......well it has for me, quite dramatically......

Though who might have been turned on by wooden pins, an admirer of Long John Silver, perhaps? :-)))
Or another piano..... x
I have started using marks and spencer body butter and finding it excellent....it does come on rose, lavender or magnolia scents though which might be a problem for a bloke....

Or woodworm.
I'll try the bio oil.
It can be food that makes it worse. Dairy products can cause flaky skin... otherwise exfoliate and use something like cetraben every day.
Google or search for it on offer, Sandy....I never pay full price...x
Or baby oil is probably cheaper. Anything oily or greasy should work. Just be careful if you put it in the bath- it makes everything slippery... :-)

Eek! Just realised I mis-read "all over dandruff"...doh!
But my recommendation still stands...coconut oil is fantastic for the skin. And a very, very little goes a long way. Make sure it's the extra virgin type. Cheap, too.
