Point 1 mikey, how many of these "workers" are paid lickspittles for the EU propaganda machine. Points 2 to 7, how many of these "benefits" are going to disappear when we vote out. I cant see Aldi or Lidl closing their supermarkets, or BMW refusing to sell us cars. Now trade is a two way thing, if we are threatened with peevish sanctions we have the clout to say, and up yours too Hans.

It precisely this level of embellishment that distorts the truth of what Boris Johnson actually said, and meant.
He said that various figures throughout history, fro Charlemagne, to Napoleon, and on to Hitler, have tried to create as European 'super state' - and that is historical fact.
From there, the BBC said he was likening the EU to Hitler, which is not at all the same thing - but the media has run with that incorrect interpretation of not only words Mr Johnson used, but most importantly, the context in which he used them.
You then come along and tack on The Holocaust to Mr Johnson's view - which he never mentioned.
Agree or disagree with what Mr Johnson says, but let's make sure we are thinking about what he actually said, and not an incorrect interpretation of what he said, or an embroidered and fictional version of what he said.

It has to be said that, wheras years ago the notion of spin was a dark art and sufficiently subtle as to be unnoticed in action, even if not in effect - it has become utterly obvious and blatant.
I was horrified to observe the BBC deliberately distort a statement made by a politician and use it to discredit his view in a debate about an issue of national importance.
Such bias is completely unacceptable, and the BBC should be called out for it.

The thing is ah, some of us have been saying for years that the BBC, with the benefit of compulsory funding by the public, have been misusing the funds to run a subliminal political and propaganda campaign. We were told that we were paranoid. Our oper is one who hangs on every twisted word uttered by them.
