Great times sixpence, the world was safe,we had no money but we were happy without the pressures of drugs, exams & wierdos, jamboree bag and a wagon wheel, heaven, If my kids came in now they would lift there arms as if to play a violin, never mind, who cares, were happy, take care, Ray

The nice thing about enjoying nature, where it be in the countryside or our own back gardens is that it's a lovely free way to spend time. You don't have to be rich to enjoy yourself!!!

Yesterday we had a pheasant, jackdaw, blackbird, woodpigeon and coot all eating around our birdtable at the same time. It looked quite humourous - I only wish our partridge had made an appearance too. Should have had my camera at the ready!!!

*whether it be*

Looking forward to next week's edition of 'The Archers'!

So true gessoo,so true,we can be rich in many ways, that must have been quite a picture if you had painted all of those people would say how stupid they would never eat together, but they do,as you have seen ,wonderfull.
Just think Ray, wouldn't it be wonderful to have a picture gallery on this site then we could see your spawk, and all the other wonderful birds and creatures that have been posted in your thread? Gessoo's birdy slant on the Mad Hatter's Tea Party would be a real one off and a joy for us all.......sighs dreamily......

Only just seen this thread but just had to tell you that I moved to Wiltshire recently and was sat up in bed last weekend when, through the window, I saw 5 buzzards circling. When I got up to take a closer look, there was another group of 5 circling nearby. So that's 10 buzzards!!!

It was actually 2 families and their young, so 4 adults in all. They were all practising stooping and soaring together. Amazing sight. The adults are so huge.

I'm glad I moved here...!
