There is no such thing as a widows pension for anyone over state retirement age. Your Mum will just receive her pension. Depending on the amount she receives and any other assets she may qualify for other benefits.

Peachy...if you are in any way concerned about what your Mum is getting, you should contact Age Concern, now called Age UK.......they were very helpful when my Dad had a problem many years ago.
