I can honestly say Sunita, I dont know. Much of the concern that surrounded the claims that it was linked to autism dont seem to have been proved. But it doesnt take away that there are some parents of children who have become ill since having the jab, genuinely do believe it was something to do with the mmr. My daughter was due for the jab at the height of the scare, we chose to have individual jabs which I understand have to be imported and the supply was limited and there was quite a long wait. When she had her booster jab before starting school, she had the triple vaccine because we felt she was old enough and her body was strong enough to cope with it, which we didnt feel was the case when she was young. I think it is a very difficult decision to make, I know most health officials are insisting it is safe but it doesnt stop parents from worrying. xx
Sunita. There's such a question mark over this jab. My youngest son (now 21) had it and turned out to have Asperger Syndrome but as he also needed oxygen just after he was born that also could have caused the Asperger Syndrome. My daughter also had the mmr jab and is fine, she's 23 now. As with many cases of autism lack of oxygen at birth is the cause. Please try not to worry too much.
