i have digiguide, and i want to view 2 different windows with different channels in each, but on the same desktop screen.

ive looked online and cant seem to see a way to do it, and digiguide themselves have said - a while ago - that you cannot have more than one window of open.

so does anyone know a way i can view my desktop based digiguide in 2 windows?

is there something i can download or something? a viewer of some sort?

its because in my living room i have a virgin package and in the bedroom i just have freeview - and its quite annoying trying to remember what channel has what when im going through it

thanks

Surely a guide is just a guide, and not a broadcaster as well.
Oh I used to have that for years but decided I wasn't using it enough to bother renewing it again a few years ago. Someone may know how to isolate multiple instances of any programme in Windows and be able to help that way: but unless the latest version of digiguide has a setting that allows it, then that's the extent of my suggestions.
PS I'm sure there used to be a digiguide forum at their site, you could ask there where the enthusiasts are.
i just setup 2 adjacent Windows on Sky go playing different things - so does virgin have same facility
I presume you are running the Digiguide windows app?

Instead, try running two different browsers - say Chrome and Firefox - you should be able to open digiguide in each browser and select a different channel in each.

not sure what you mean postdog ...

thanks OG, yes thats what i was hoping someone would know - i have asked DG and they say no, at least not through them.

digiguide is a desktop app that regularly downloads channel info for whatever channels you choose - it is not online and you cannot watch anything with it - so its not like skygo nor is it connected to virgin.

it is a windows app but it is desktop based, not browser based
