My T.V. keeps pixilating with sound interference on a regular basis. We have a new ariel, could it just be the freeview box, or is it more of a problem ?

It's the inherent problem with digital TV. Whereas in analogue, with reduced signal, you would get a slight degredation in picture quality, this is what happens to digital. It takes more to cause this in digital, but it is an 'all-or-nothing' system.

When analogue stops broadcasting (2008?), the power used by the transmitters should be used to boost digital signal strength to aleviate the problem somewhat.
