Absolutely mally, I haven't tried Nivea in ages, might give it a go!
Question Author
All my moisturisers are cheap.

A salt scrub after washing your face makes the skin feel really soft.
For body I've always used Body Shop Body Butter, specifically the coconut one but it comes in a variety of gorgeous smells. For hair I swap about but often use Aussie products and the tubs of conditioning masks by lots of different brands.
I wonder if Patsy means Philip Kingsley Elasticizer, it is very expensive and well known, I didn't find it any better than cheaper brands.

Hi Prudie, I've tried one of the Aussie shampoos but didn't suit my dry hair. I use either Gliss liquid silk shampoo or Gliss total repair shampoo .. both Shwarzkopf.
Question Author
Not much experience of the conditioning masks, they're supposed to be very good deep conditioning aren't they.
Well I slap it on and leave it for a few hours then wash as normal. They do improve my hair but only that first day. My hairdresser made me buy loads of expensive Redken products but at the end of the day I think they're all pretty much the same.
Question Author
Not sure I could afford Redken products Prudie. Love Shwarzkopf. I have some tubes of hot oil in the cupboard too.
I buy Aldi own brand Q10 and it's as good as any of the others and a lot cheaper too.

Tell you what really has made a difference on my face, a good dollop of petroleum jelly, those large tubs you can buy at the pound shops. I put it on at night liberally & pat off with a tissue. I use a spare pillow case to lie on. In the morning ing I wash it off then wear a light day cream.
Question Author
Margo, I've heard a lot of positive comments about that cream!! I'm in Aldi a lot.
Elina, I buy a lot of their own brand stuff and find it really good. Give it a try, I think it's about £3.99 so you haven't lost too much if you don't like it. They do a matching night cream.
Question Author
I will Margo, I'll let my stash go down first though.
I find the thinner moisturisers like Simple don't really feel enough as I've got older. I buy whatever's on offer in Tesco or Boots, like Olay or Garnier. I like the Aussie range for hair conditioners.
Question Author
I like the 'simple' range Clover x
