I think it is clever marketing and misleading to all it a 'boiling water tap'.
It is an insulated tank that keeps water at boiling temperate with a tap attached.
I certainly wouldn't use it to make hot drinks.
For those who are fans.....what if there were young children in the house...would you be confident that they wouldn't scald themselves ?
well most young children can't reach the kitchen taps so why would they be able to reach this one?
Some kids are tall for their age.
So many 'what if's...?' from the people who don't have one and who are ignoring direct knowledge from people who do....

I don't have one primarily because I'd be concerned (and "No" I haven't done a great deal of research) about the electricity consumption.
Sharon so you tell them not to touch - the same as you tell them not to touch scissors and fires and plugs - or perhaps we should just not install all of them too!
