The Hucklebuck, or (Do) The Hucklebuck was a bit hit for an Irish Showband - Brendan Bowyer & The Royal Showband - from Waterford - in the early 1960's. Probably some obscure US song. Coast To Coast with a less-than-impressive version got to No 5 in the Charts in 1981.

My apologies. There appears to be a problem adding links in Answerbank,when I cut and paste a URL to a website I'm not sure why (when you click on the link) Answerbank seems to add extra characters which then make it invalid. Grrrrrrrrrrrr !!

The song do the hucklebuck dates back to 1948 and wa recorded by Paul Williams and the Hucklebuckers for Savoy Records im Jamuary 1949.
