Cascais - Portual
Has anyone stayed here and if so is it nice. I have booked a last minute holiday staying at the Faro Design Hotel and I am hoping I haven't been too rash as I don't know anything about the area and although it was last minute it wasn't cheap!

I have been to Cascais several times, its a "posh" weekend resort for the Portuegese [ almost everyone speaks English] as it is about a 30 min train ride to Lisbon [trains clean & on time], its very nice I am sure u will like it, try the fresh sardines at an open air cafe and if you venture to Lisbon do take the old fashioned tourist tram ride that goes from the central square and takes you all around Lisbon for about 1 hour +. Some nice shops in Cascais too.
