Hello, Shoota, are you bored?

Yont, that would be perfect, wouldn't it? :-)
I still have parts of my Trix Twin railroad set: engine, tender, goods wagons, passenger coaches, control box, and a few feet of rail-tracks. Tilly, if you go swanning around Clayton ,take a boo at 65 Stafford Crescent. I used to live there as a little gaffer. There used to be a row of "tin-houses" just to the left of it as you're looking at the front door.

I think they've gone, Stuey. Anyway, I'm not going anywhere near any tin houses.

Edwardian/Victorian villas are more my bag!
I looked up the address on Google Earth, and it looks like they're still there but clad in another material...Check it out.
Question Author
It does work, Stuey. A bit different from where you live now, I expect.
Hope they've looked after the lawn, stuey ;-)
It was amazing how many childhood memories came swarming back when I first saw that on Google Earth a few years ago.
I used to live there as a little gaffer.

I knew he was a posh kid, I was only a sprog.
Question Author
Stuey's moved on and up, Yont.
I knew I should have taken the Pet Shop Boys advice and gone West, Yilly.
Question Author
....and me, Yont....and me.

Anyway. my Annie Oakley outfit must have been the precursor to my love of line dancing. The fringed leather skirt was what did it.

Off now, watching a film. Goodnight all. Thanks. xxx
Yes I still have my Slinky, still in box, shredded 'rust proof' paper, not stretched and still used occasionally :-)
