I've been eating these steamed recently. They provide all the goodness of their cabbagy family without the complexity and depth of taste of their fresh brethren.
It's obviously too late for this Christmas but might be something to remember if catering next year for those fussy eaters who, inexplicably, 'don't like sprouts'.

Now frozen sprouts I do NOT like. They have to be fresh, boiled for 10 minutes till al dente.
I tried frozen sprouts once when fresh ones were out of season and could not eat them. A poor substitute for the "real" ones;

Chaque un a son gout.
I wouldn't eat them either. They're horrible.

The only veg I eat frozen is peas and sweetcorn and at a push green beans.
My favourite vegetables. Looking forward to eating some with Christmas lunch this afternoon.
The only reason I eat frozen peas is because fresh ones are only available for about 6 weeks of the year and then they cost an arm and a leg.
I eat fresh peas raw. I used to pod them with my nan and it was so hard not to eat them all.
And chew the pods too.
Not for me. The only veg I eat that's frozen is the same as Ummmm.

I grew peas a couple of years ago, when they matured I picked them for dinner, not a single one was left by the time I got to the kitchen. They are just too delicious not to eat straightaway.
A very old friend of mine once told me that in the 20s his job was to shell the peas on a Sunday and whistle throughout to make sure he wasn't eating any.
Hey up, aren't we supposed to be talking about sprouts?!
I bet that was excruciating. I'd probably have got my P45! ;)
