Sending xmas cards to my family in Florida, it took 15 days!!!!
I posted on 2nd Dec and they received them on around the 16th.

I paid a fortune in stamps, one card cost nearly £4.

Presumably because it came within the 'large letter' category (where the minimum price to the USA is £3.15). A 'normal' card shouldn't cost more than £1.33 to send:
