What is the metal cage made from? How are they welded?


Anything on how they are made in bulk and any other ideas?

Made from steel rod and are bent and spot welded by automatic machinery on production lines.
As an aside... They're pretty expensive. I know there's a company in the USA that makes lots of money refurbishing damaged ones, like those run over by a truck, etc. I've seen a couple that they've repaired, and you'd never know they'd been damaged. It's only the company's label that lets you know they're not brand new.

I think they take large homemade BBQ's and cut the half oil drum off of the back and then make one wheel wonky.
