I'd check it's properties (right click) and try to find out what it was before left clicking.

I think some Windows can use groups, not that I ever needed my personal one to be in one. Maybe you clicked on something at some point. Could probably delete or move it I suspect.

Right click on empty part of desktop, select refresh.
