I remember his "Your Man From Six Counties" which I believe he both wrote and starred in. One of the old Plays for Today, about "The Troubles"
It would be well worth seeing again

My goodness...what sad news.

I hadn't realised that he had so ill for so long.

I remember seeing him in Dennis Potter's "Blue Remembered Hills"
