On now - some brilliant music. Takes me back to when I was 18 in the early 70s :)

Extremely! Don't remember that single. The best were on at the beginning -Elton John, David Bowie and Roxy Music.

Doesn`t Rod Stewart look young? I remember this song because it was during the lovely summer of 1976 - I love to hear the songs from that summer.

Me too! I was 21 and had just met my (now) husband. Yes, all the performers look young because it was about 40 years ago! Scary.

We were all scarily younger forty years ago, losgigs. Fortunately, everyone else is getting older too.

So true Tilly, so true. I was talking with some friends earlier about seeing Paul Nicholas in Hair in the early 70s and how gorgeous he was. Having seen him recently being interviewed it was so disappointing to see how he looks now. Better hold on to those memories! (of course, I haven't aged at all!)

Only came across the programme by chance while searching for something other than rugby/gymnastics/Eastenders. Have stayed on BBC4 and watching male ballet dancers. Quite stunning, even though I'm not a big ballet fan.

Do you ever listen to Absolute Radio 70s? I listen to it on the kitchen radio but I think it is available online if you are out of range for the DAB signal.

Haven't so far but will check it out. Usually stick with radio 2.
