hi,

i'm not really criticising because I love this problem but does anyone else think that the time syncing in season 5 of 24 isn't quite at the standard of previous episodes.

A couple of examples sping to mind:

1. the fire and ambulance arriving at the gas works in literally 2 minutes

2. how quick audrey returned her hair and makeup to her usual standard after being tortured but 1 hour previous.

there have been a couple of other examples. Like I say I love the program but normally the syncing is perfect

any thoughts?

I haven't actually seen it yet (don't have Sky or want it) but it's funny you should mention it, as I thought that right from episode one. Just to explain, after it aired in the US, a synopsis of the episode appeared on the official site, and I read that.

Anyway, Chloe was in bed with this bloke - a colleague - and she chucked him out. Less than 15 minutes later he was in the CTU office, fully aware of what was going on with Presdient Palmer and everything. No wash before he left, no toilet break, no coffee, no time wasted on security checks when he did get to work. I can get from my house to work by car in the space of one record, but that's at five in the morning, and even then I have to get to my car, unlock it, lock it at the end etc!

I have heard rumours the next series is actually going to be set in London. I hope not - one way or another it will lose all credibility for me then.

They have to work within the limitations of the shows premise ie everything takes place in realtime.

The show would get a bit boring if all we were watching was people travelling!

The next series is not in London.Sutherland said on JR recently that the film would be partly set there.

Jack has never been to the loo in all the episodes I've seen.

He must be busting right now.

No wonder he's always in a mood.

He goes during the advert breaks, when everyone else stops and stands still for 5 minutes. That's also when they eat and gossip.

Don't you remember when Jack's heart had been stopped during torture in one of the earlier days, and an hour or so later he was up and running around. And in the one where he was a heroin addict, and he had to shoot up in the morning, but after that he was fine and had forgotten about it all!!
