80s TV Series

Anybody remember the two TV series from the early 80s called "The Nightmare Man" and "Maelstrom"? I remember watching them as a child and being absolutely terrified, especially by the dolls in "Maelstrom." I'm sure if I watched them now they would be laughable but I can't ever remember them being repeated (maybe with good reason!) What are the programmes from your childhood which frightened you?

i was always frightened by DR Who ,and the thing that sucked the little girls breath /soul? in Cats Eye by Stephen King LOL
