Hi folks, no-one seems to be able to help me on "quizzes" so thought I'd try here. Can't work this puzzler for the life of me ...

"Brits from Walter Raleigh to Arthur Conan haye have been inspired by this English speaking country, a republic for just 40 years. Only slightly smaller in area than Britain, it has a population roughly a tenth of London's. It is rich in biodiversity and has one of its continent's largest unspoilt rainforests. Name the country"

Many thanks in advance, Chox.
