The Coventry Gardens, which lie further east on the waterfront opposite Detroit's Belle Isle, are home to the famous Charles Brooks Memorial Peace Fountain. This has the most beautiful display of colored lights at night. Another significant feature is that this is the largest fountain of this type in North America. It is a symbol of the peace that exists between Canada and the US.

Ive seen better fountains made with a 2 litre bottle of diet coke, a pack of mentos and a torch!
