we went to the lake district one and they had radiators in every room. They also had log fire and we bought logs when there - dont remember it being very expensive. We probably did not actually need the fire but liked the glow of it. Definitely would not say you would need to take blankets etc unless you are someone who likes to have loads of these things and hot water bottle etc. everything is available for you onsite to buy but perhaps a little bit more expensive that you could certainly pack some extra food stuff of your own - for example we decided to take pasta, sauce and breads for the first night and some bacon for the morning with rolls - just til we got to know the place. it was a great break x
basic I think you do get like storage heater radiators. They give you loads of spare blankets. Because the basic ones are literally a concrete building they dont hold the heat. Take a hot water bottle. We took way too much food. Lots of places to eat out so just take bread and sandwich fillers for when you want to grab a quick snack. So much to do their you hardly get time to relax in villa
