I read a book when I was in middle school and it was about a boy who some how get into a forest a magic forest and there was a fire witch (or red witch). there they became best friends and helped each other through the forest . at the end of the book there is a battle at a castle and some one comes out a mirror ( or something like that) and I believe at the edge of the forest his father lived there. If you can help me find this book I would be every so great full.
