what city in the UK can you say you would happily live there apart from your own?

Well I don't live in a city.
York is lovely - but i would like to live near london so i could get to the west end as often as possible

Full of intellectuals and clergy. Want Private Medicine on the NHS. Tight" gits" with money.

You can keep York.

Lousy football team and rugby league team a non starter.

York is full of history and the people are smashing

Brighton and Hove. In 2000 the two towns were collectively and officially granted city status. Brighton



as windsor isn't a city it would have to be York for me.

I wouldn't live in a town or city ever again if I had the choice.I've lived in a village for so long that anything bigger would be a nightmare for me.

I found Edinburgh nice too funny, couldn't live there , too bustling!
but I like it more than Glasgow, tho' Glasgow pubs are better...LOL
I went to York with my parents when I was a kid to visit - wait for it - an enclosed order of nuns

York is lovely, as is Brighton.
I could happily live in......Norwich, Bath, Cambridge or Edinburgh . But most likely I'd say Plymouth cos it's near the South Coast and that gorgeous Devon, Dorset, Cornwall coastline.
I'd give Newcastle a try. Friendly people, good for live bands etc. A bit chilly in winter though!
