Free stop-over hotels

We gave recently booked a holiday with Singapore airlines to New Zealand, and someone was telling me that you can get free or one night free hotels for the stop-over in Singapore when you have booked with this airline. Does anyone know is this is correct. Thanks.

there are some discounts here but I'm not sure they count as free

We stayed over biut it wasn't free.
Watch for their "free" trips, they sting you for the transport down to the meeting place, the excellent public transport is much better value. We discovered that you can get a refund on iunderground tickets after you've used them! Usuaklly about 50%.
