Which career suits me?

How do I find out which career is right for me.
I can't decide what I want to do and not one particular thing makes me think I'd really love to do that, I've just got a few things that are maybes and that I wouldn't mind trying to see if I like them however they are all quite different and I am wondering is there a way I can find out if I would enjoy the type of work before I actually start a course/get employment.
The things I have been thinking about are: -
Travel Agent/ Resort rep
Hairdresser

Yu could get a saturday job in a hairdresers to see if you liked it, if you did they might offer to pay for your training
You would need a qualification to work as a Travel agent , but again could go in as a junior role and get them to pay for your training.
A holiday rep you wouold just need to apply for it and go and try it out, but it is very hard work. Having spoken to reps abroad they usually work a 12 hour day, with extra's on top of that, like attending excursions and night events also going to the airport at night. One of the girls I met said you were also expected to go on the excursions on your day off to get the guests perspective. They do have a good social life, partying between midnight and 8 in the morning!!!

Flippin hec, when do they sleep? A night out would kill me after a 12 hr day if I'm not dead already haha!!!
Thanks for your suggestions everyone. I think I have ruled hairdressing out for the mo, not to say I still couldn't try it by getting a Sat job.
I have sent off an app to the college to do an NVQ 2 in travel services so if I don't get another full time job soon (cus I'm leaving this one) then at least that might be another option.
