Does anyone have any idea of the penalty fine amount for boating on the Broads after dark with no navigation lights? I'm asking on behalf of a friend who is pretty worried. He's tried the Broads site but can't find the info.
Cheers in advance guys

As per the Broads Authority Navigation Byelaws 1995...

"88(1) Every person contravening any of these Byelaws without reasonable excuse shall on summary conviction for every such breach be liable to pay a penalty not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale."

Level 3 fine = 1000

The sections relevant to exhibition of lights is contained in Part II (33-45)...
