This is just my personal opinion but when we visit north yorkshire we always stay at the clifton hotel in scarborough, its not over priced and is nice

Eugh! Scarborough!
Some Polish friends of mine recently said that Scarborough reminds them of Poland in the communist days.
Where exactly do you fancy staying - North Yorkshire is huge....and so are it's moors.

we need somewhere near Grosmont,though Pickering area is also ok.

The Forest and Vale Hotel in Pickering is great, and they sometimes have special offers.
