Not sure if this is the best section to ask, but does anyone know what is the form of public transort, that daily, carries more passengers than the trains, buses, taxis and the underground combined

if you're excluding walking, then I suppose bikes. It depends where you're talking about - 30 years ago it would surely have been bikes because nearly a billion Chinese used them. I'm not sure if the statistic is still true.
Surely bikes are not public transport, jno, or you could include cars as well.
oh yes, that's right of course, Panic Button, I didn't see the word 'public'. I don't know what other form of public transport there is. Rickshaws? Sedan chairs?
escalators?
yes, good thinking; or lifts. But do they really carry more people than all the world's trains?
aeroplanes?
