Morning All,

I've got to organise a leaving meal for a much esteemed and generally lovely chap I work with but it's in central London and I am rubbish at nice places to eat in central London, (virtually never do it). I need to cover the following...

* Seating for up to 15
* Chappie would quite like an English style grub.... Steakes etc...
* Not cheap but not ridiculously priced either (I called Rules and nearly had a heart attack).
* Areas I'm looking at are Leciester Sq, Tottenham Court Road, Oxford Circus, Marlybone, So-Ho, Convent Garden... You get the drift.
* A decent bar to fall in to afterwards would be an advantage

The lass that normally helps me with organising this stuff is sunning herself in Auzzie Land so I'd really appreciate any suggestions offered!

Cheers

If i were you, i would go to www.toptable.co.uk. They have lots of restaurants listed, and you can choose by nationality of food. Plus, they have a team who can help you find and arrange do's for groups. And EVEN better, you get point for arranging your meal through the website, and you (as the organiser) can use the points to have a free meal somewhere on another night!

That was an amazingly helpful website Kira and is now book marked as a favourite. Thank you so much for that!
Kira000 has obviously given you plenty to look at, but you might also like to consider this (which meets all of your criteria and which I'm happy to recommend):

Hey Baz,

Yes, I'm back in good old london town. Had to give up looking for places as it was causing me way too much stress so am happily in NHS accomodation which is making me very lazy as it's so close to work and it's central london based so it's actually quite handy. Now work for a different NHS too... Can't remember if I told you that... in an unusual department so that's all quite interesting but incredibly busy and my counterpart is off for a month so I'm feeling the pain! Other than that, it's same old, same old... How's you?
