You don't need a passport. Jersey will let you in.

However if you fly the airline is likely to ask you for ID for security reasons - a passport is one of several possibilities.
Depends where you are flying from.

In these days of high security at airports I dont think it is worth trying to fly anywhere without a passport.

Better that than turn up at the airport and find your identification is not enough and they wont let you on the plane.
it will depend on where you are travelling from i guess, and what nationality you are. if going from the uk (flying) each airine will have its own rules and you must check with them - ie driving liscence etc. If going by boat, i think the rules are less stringent., it would be worth while checking with whoever you are travelling with
oo -not a reply really but we're going to Jersey in May for a christening.I have never been before but its meant to be fabulous !!
i fly to jersey regularly, and evey airline i have used has always wanted a passprot to allow you through airport security, not for entering jersey,im told some may take some form of official photo id like driving licence, but have never put it to the teast.

As above.

But if you want to take one of the day trips vto France whilst you are in Jersey you will need a passport to do that.
